Questions
to National HSC
|
In
our effort to keep the focus on the substantive evidence presented
in the LyR
report, CSFH will send out a series of questions to the national HSC leadership
with a single issue or piece of evidence for them to respond
to. Our reason for this is simple: we want to make absolutely
clear to every reader –- and especially, every HSC member
past and present -- that the National HSC has been deceptive
about its connections with the RSS family and its only strategy
is to distract from the evidence presented in the report.
CSFH's Questions to National HSC |
HSC Response |
Week #8 (September 27, 2007): If HSC has been "independently run since 1993", why did VHPA seek to trademark its logo and name in 2003, the very next year after the anti-Muslim carnage in Gujarat in which the "groups most directly involved ... include the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (World Hindu Council, VHP), the Bajrang Dal, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that heads the Gujarat state government? |
NONE |
Week #7 (September 7, 2007): Were the students of the University of Houston HSC aware that they were meeting with Ram Madhav, a representative of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)? Will the RSS continue to try to use the HSC to provide venues to promote the politics and personalities of the RSS? |
NONE |
Week
#6 (August 7, 2007): Why does the Hindu
Student Council (HSC) support Hindutva ideologues like
Sadhvi Rithambara? On June 9, 2007 the HSC
joined numerous US affiliates of the RSS (such as Vishwa Hindu
Parishad-America and Hindu Swayamsewak Sangh) in inviting one
of the most vitriolic ideologues of the Sangh Parivar, Sadhvi
Rithambara, to speak at a benefit event in Houston, Texas |
NONE |
Week
#5 (July 3, 2007): How does the
national HSC explain VHP General Secretary Ashok Singhal's
1993 statement"Now
the first project we have in mind is strengthening the
HSC?" Could it
be that the HSC continues to be a project of the Sangh
Parivar? |
NONE |
Week
#4 (June 19, 2007): How does the National
HSC explain its continuing links with the VHPA years after
it claimed to have become an “independently
run organization?" |
NONE |
Week
#3 (June 10, 2007): Why has the National
HSC password protected the alt.hindu archives? Why has
it NOW sought to hide discussions that happened in the
public domain in the mid-1990s? |
NONE |
Week #2 (June 3, 2007): Why
has the National HSC NOW changed the Admin information
for hscnet.org and also changed the contact page on Hindunet
(hindunet.com/contact.htm)? Does it believe that by changing
the admin/contact information NOW, the chapter level membership
will fail to see the connections between the National HSC
and the RSS? Why is it continuing on this path of further
deceit and deception? |
NONE |
Week
#1 (May 26, 2007): Why
did the National HSC build the Sangh Parivar's Global Internet
infrastructure and why does it continue to maintain it? |
